I kept the rest of our guest bedroom simple, and this bed gives the space just enough presence. I would make the same decision for our guest bedroom again.

A month later, I am even happier with how this piece works in my primary bedroom. It has become the visual anchor the room was missing. It changed the tone of the room more than any smaller update could have. The bedroom feels calmer when I walk in at night.
