Features

Finely crafted using time-tested joinery and construction methods, lumber is selected, sanded and assembled by hand to ensure that all the joinery is clean, flush, and smooth to the touch.
Multiple coats of silky smooth varnish is applied and sanded by hand to provide lasting protection that is resistant to stains, moisture rings, heat damage and abrasions.
Drawers are made with English dovetails, fully-finished drawer boxes, and glued-in-place drawer bottoms.
Space for King Mattress - 76.5" x 80.5"
The finish is GREENGUARD Certified for low chemical emissions.
Natural variations in solid wood and hand-applied finishes make each piece unique. Slight grain and finish irregularities as well as subtle differences in stain shades are signs that the furniture has been crafted from solid wood and are considered hallmarks of quality.
Natural hardwoods have specific characteristics that make them warm and appealing to the eye. Swirls, knots, pitch pockets and burls are some characteristics that contribute to the natural beauty of finely crafted hardwood furniture.
Hardwoods oxidize, or change color, from exposure to direct light. The color of the wood will deepen over time and take on a warm glow and soft patina.

Product Care:

To care for and preserve the finish on your new Copeland Furniture piece, please keep the following recommendations in mind. While our furniture has been finished with a durable top coat, the surface may be sensitive to dents and abrasions during the first 30 days in your home. Treat the surface finish gently so it does not dent or chip. Tape or stickers should not be put on the finish. For general care use a soft cloth to dust the furniture. Use damp cloth with a mild soap to clean-up spills or dirt. Dry the surface thoroughly. Please do not use any polishes, waxes or solvents to clean the surface of the furniture. This holds true for new Copeland Furniture pieces as well as items you may already have in your home. Please do not place any candles directly on the surface of your furniture. The perfumes and dyes in the candles may penetrate the finish.

The room was close to done before, but this bedroom piece gave it the last bit of direction it needed. What surprised me was how much the surrounding furniture benefited visually, especially when I look at the room as a whole. The space looks polished while the house still feels lived in. I am pleased with the decision and with how the primary bedroom came together.

Compared with the room before, the funny part is that the person who questioned this choice most is now the one who compliments this bed.

For the way we use our guest bedroom, we do not always agree on furniture, so it was a relief that this bedroom piece worked for both of us in the space. I did not buy it for compliments, but they have been a nice confirmation. The overall effect feels considered without becoming precious. The bedroom has a calmer, more complete feeling now. The room took one extra round of rearranging before I was completely happy with it.
