I bought this piece for everyday life rather than for show, and that is exactly how it feels in our guest room. It has settled into the room in a very natural way. It is distinct enough to notice and quiet enough to live with. I am happy with the balance we ended up with in our guest room.

I was not looking for a dramatic change, yet the piece noticeably improved the way our guest room comes together.

In my living area, a lot of furniture looks good by itself, but this chest also works with the rest of this room. The piece helped the room feel collected rather than pieced together. The best part for me is that my living area still feels relaxed even with this chest giving it more structure. My living area feels better as a whole, which matters more to me than any single detail.
