In daylight, the table feels calm and natural in the open dining area rather than overly styled. The room still feels relaxed, which was important to me. It gave the room the anchor it was missing. I am glad we went with it.

A quiet improvement to the breakfast room, this dining room centerpiece makes the whole area feel more intentional. It gave the room the anchor it was missing. The biggest difference is the sense of balance it gives the space. I was more interested in how the room would feel after a few weeks than in the first five minutes. The choice felt a bit more grown-up than what we had before, without making the house feel formal. It feels like a keeper.

Most days, the dining room centerpiece simply feels like it belongs in the open dining area, which is exactly what I wanted. It felt a bit more noticeable than I expected at first, but the room settled around it quickly. It made the dining area feel like a real gathering place. Overall, it has been an easy piece to enjoy.
