Century Furniture Monterey Large Dining Table

We have had a few people over since adding this piece, and it has quietly become part of the conversation. That reaction made me feel better about taking my time with the choice. It has enough presence to matter, but the room still has breathing space. It is slightly more noticeable in the room than I expected, though not in a way I regret.

Here in our dining area, I was aiming for understated, and the piece landed in the right place visually. I am glad I took the time to choose the piece.

Looking at our dining area now, I notice the room more than the individual piece now, which is exactly the effect I wanted. I was aiming for a change that would not force us to replace everything else, and the overall setup now feels much more coherent. What surprised me was how much more intentional the room felt from the doorway, especially at the end of the day. For me, that makes the piece one of the better choices we made for our dining area.
