Several weeks later, this coffee table has settled into our living room exactly the way I hoped. The living area feels better when we are gathered around for coffee, conversation, or a quiet night in. I would choose the same direction again for this space.

I chose the coffee table because I liked it, but the fact that everyone else responded well was a nice bonus. I needed a little time to see how it fit with everything else, and now I am glad I kept the arrangement.

I chose this table during a post-move furniture reset, and it helped our family room feel less temporary. I wanted the room to feel welcoming before people arrived, not overly decorated. The best part for me is that our family room still feels relaxed even with this table giving it more structure. I was aiming for a room with a little more structure and a little less visual noise, and the room feels more settled. It fits naturally into the way we gather in the living area.
