I like that the piece still feels right on an ordinary weekday, not just when the room is cleaned up for company. The look has a little more visual presence than I pictured, but it ended up working for the room.

Here in our dining area, our routine did not have to change around the piece; it slid into this room naturally. I was aiming for a more intentional room without a full redesign, and the overall setup now feels much more coherent. What surprised me was how much more intentional the room felt from the doorway, especially when the house is busy. I did not need to change the rest of our dining area for the piece to make sense there. The end result in our dining area feels like our home, only more finished.

I needed one extra round of rearranging around the dining table, but our dining area feels much more complete now.
