For the living area, the placement feels right, the room feels settled, and I am glad I chose the chest. There is enough character to notice without making the space feel busy. I like how the chest gives the living area a clearer point of view without taking over. It is slightly more noticeable in the room than I expected, though not in a way I regret.

The overall look is calmer now that this piece is part of our primary bedroom. I was aiming for an update that would still feel comfortable day to day, and the change feels noticeable without feeling dramatic. Our primary bedroom feels better as a whole, which matters more to me than any single detail.

In our bedroom, even when the room is not perfectly tidy, this chest still makes the overall space feel intentional. I wish I had planned the surrounding pieces around it sooner; once I did, the room made more sense.
