Looking at my sitting room now, the rest of the room finally makes more sense around this piece. I can change smaller things around this piece without feeling like the whole plan for my sitting room has to change.

For our living room, I chose this piece because I liked it, but the fact that everyone else responded well was a nice bonus. The different opinions in our house finally landed in the same place. I was aiming for a calmer overall arrangement, and nothing around it had to change. For me, that makes this piece one of the better choices we made for our living room.

The table has a natural place in the main sitting area now, whether we are using the space or just walking through. I can change smaller things around the table without feeling like the whole plan for the main sitting area has to change.
