Century Furniture Bernard Sofa

Here in our main sitting area, I notice this sofa most during the ordinary parts of the day, which is probably the best compliment I can give it.

For this part of the house, nothing about daily life in the room feels rearranged around this piece, and I like that. What surprised me was how well it worked in everyday life instead of only looking good on its own, especially when friends are over. I can change smaller things around this piece without feeling like the whole plan for my living room has to change. I was aiming for an update that would still feel comfortable day to day, and nothing around it had to change. This ended up being exactly the kind of update my living room needed.

From one side of our living room to the other, the room feels less temporary with the sofa in it.

Among the other furniture in our living room, the room feels less temporary with this seating piece in it. I was aiming for a space that felt finished without looking formal, and this got us much closer to it.
