I expected the seat to blend in a little more, but its stronger presence ended up giving the bedroom the direction it needed.

As the room stands now, of everything I changed in this room, the seat made the most immediate visual difference. The surrounding furniture feels less random now that the seat is part of the sitting area. It looks intentional from different parts of the room, which was important to me. The chair looks at home in the space even when the rest of the room is being used normally. I am glad I took the time to choose the seat.

From across our reading corner, this piece gives the arrangement a clearer sense of balance. I was aiming for a room that looked considered but not precious, and it fits the house better than I expected. For me, that makes this piece one of the better choices we made for our reading corner.
