Meticulously tailored in an eggshell-colored, faux angora velvet, the Dimitri Sofa introduces generous seating in a harmonious mix of textures and materials.
An inset of Galway Mappa Burl accentuates gently rounded track arms, flowing downward to where it recedes along a semicircular plinth base.

With the smaller details kept simple, the room was close to done before, but the seating piece gave it the last bit of direction it needed.

With the rest of the room unchanged, the room feels less temporary with this sofa in it. I am happy with the balance we ended up with in the main sitting area.

Within the main sitting area, this is the kind of furniture choice that makes the whole room feel more deliberate. I was aiming for a more connected look across the room, and it fits the house better than I expected. I notice it without feeling like the whole room revolves around it. The room feels settled now, and I would not change the choice.
