Within our hallway, it is easy to appreciate this console table on an ordinary weekday because it feels so at home in the room. What surprised me was how quickly the room started to feel finished, especially at the end of the day. Nothing else in the room had to be replaced for the new setup to work. The area used to feel like an in-between space, and now it has a clear purpose visually. The transition through the space feels much more finished. I would choose the same direction again for this space.

It is easy to appreciate this console table on an ordinary weekday because it feels so at home in our hallway. I am pleased with the decision and with how our hallway came together.

Of everything I changed in the hallway, this console made the most immediate visual difference. It makes the entry into the room feel more considered. I was aiming for a piece that would add presence without taking over, and the room finally has that balance. This console is a choice I am happy to keep living with.
