The entry looks more intentional with this flush-mounted sconce in place. The overall setup feels intentional without becoming precious. I like it most when the room is being lived in rather than perfectly styled.

The first time a couple of friends stopped by unexpectedly, this flush-mounted sconce felt like part of the room rather than something we had just bought. The room makes more sense as a whole now. The wall no longer feels like the unfinished part of the room. I am glad we chose something that fits the way we actually live.
