Cala Nans is a small cove in Cadaqus accessible only by footpaths or by sea. An unspoiled corner of the Mediterranean where the vegetation and an old lighthouses vigil make this place a natural spot where all you can hear are the sound of the sea and of the birds that fly over the coast. With Nans, we wanted to highlight the craftsmanship of the lampshades and to look for a different way of weaving by combining different colors and formats to create a true Mediterranean style.

Wednesday busy breakfast is when this pendant light feels most at home in the kitchen area. I specifically wanted the LED version, so this stayed on my short list. I like it most when the room is being lived in rather than perfectly styled.

Somewhere between dinner prep and the rest of the day, this pendant light simply became part of the breakfast area.

Monday slow dinner prep is a surprisingly good test of how naturally this pendant light fits the main room. The LED version matched one of the practical details I had already decided on. The longer it is here, the less I think of it as a new purchase. It has been a genuinely good fit for our home.

Our small eating area started feeling different once this pendant light was in place; my brother noticed the change before I said anything. The room feels finished but still relaxed.
