From one side of our living room to the other, I notice the room more than the individual piece now, which is exactly the effect I wanted. I was hoping the piece would pull our living room together, and it did that without making the space feel overly coordinated.

In the context of our reading corner, the placement feels right, the room feels settled, and I am glad I chose this seat. The space looks polished while the house still feels lived in. It gives the room direction while keeping the relaxed feeling we wanted. I was aiming for a change that would not force us to replace everything else, and the change feels noticeable without feeling dramatic. I am glad I took the time to choose this seat.

In the finished room, it is surprisingly hard to find furniture that feels distinct without feeling loud, and this piece gets that balance right. What surprised me was how much the surrounding furniture benefited visually, especially when I look at the room as a whole.
