Looking at my main sitting area now, I had a hard time deciding what the room was missing, and the sofa turned out to be the answer. The whole sitting area feels more relaxed and complete. What surprised me was how much more intentional the room felt from the doorway, especially when I look at the room as a whole. I like that the sofa works with what we already had in my main sitting area instead of making the rest of the room feel outdated. I was aiming for something that felt at home rather than showy, and the overall setup now feels much more coherent. I am pleased with the decision and with how my main sitting area came together.
