Barclay Butera Carmel Malpaso Bachelor's Chest

In the bedroom, I appreciate how this piece contributes to the space without competing with everything around it. The end result in the bedroom feels like our home, only more finished.

On a normal day, this piece feels like it has always belonged in my bedroom. I did not need to change the rest of my bedroom for this piece to make sense there. I was aiming for something that felt at home rather than showy, and the room feels more settled. I had to rearrange the surrounding furniture once before the setup felt right, which is the only reason I landed at four stars.

Here in the living area, this piece has a natural place in this room now, whether we are using the space or just walking through. It has settled into the room in a very natural way. I was aiming for something that would work with what we already owned, and the change feels noticeable without feeling dramatic. The living area feels better as a whole, which matters more to me than any single detail.
