The funny part is that the person who questioned this choice most is now the one who compliments the table. The room feels more grown-up now, but it still feels like a place we actually live in. The dining area feels more inviting whether it is a quick weekday meal or a longer dinner. I was aiming for a calmer overall arrangement, and the room finally has that balance. For me, that makes the table one of the better choices we made for our main dining space.
