An organic take on the classic starburst design, the Finch Chandelier features dark gray-washed branches growing from a concealed black iron frame. Each of the eight lights seemingly blends into the structure until they bring it to life when lit, casting beautiful shadows across a space. Due to the nature of the wood, each piece will vary in size, shape, and finish. The wooden sticks will crack over time, this is an inherent feature of solid wood of this proportion.

On Friday, a quiet night is when the space where everyone gathers feels most complete with this chandelier. It feels intentional without asking for attention every time I walk into the room. The room still feels comfortable on ordinary nights and polished enough when people come over.

On busy evening, I notice how naturally this chandelier fits the gathering space. On weekends, I notice it most when the central part of the house stays busy a little longer than usual.

My partner noticed the change before I said anything on a rainy Thursday morning, which made this chandelier feel even more natural in the space where everyone gathers. I notice the improvement most when the central part of the house is being used normally rather than styled for company. I like it most when the main room is being lived in rather than perfectly styled. It turned out to be one of the more satisfying updates we made.
