Saturday breakfast made me realize this pendant light had already become part of the entry. The 1-light configuration was one of the few specific details I had in mind from the start. It settled into the room more easily than I expected. I needed a few days to get used to the room with it there, but that hesitation passed quickly.

Saturday calm takeout night is when this pendant light feels most at home in the main room.

Our room made the most sense once we had family over one evening; the room worked exactly the way I hoped it would. It works just as naturally on a rushed weekday as it does when we have people over.
