More than a material or creative medium, LIULI is the embodiment of culture, spirit and philosophy, and passion. Liuli is a Chinese term from the Han Dynasty for glass art, and was chosen to honor the richness of Chinese heritage and culture. Records show that artisans of the Han Dynasty were highly skilled in lost-wax casting (pâte de verre) but the craft was subsequently lost and forgotten. Yang and Chang revived the craft and reintroduced it to the international arena.

Unhurried Saturday night, this chandelier feels especially natural in the room.

Rainy Saturday evening, this chandelier feels especially natural in the dining room. I notice the improvement most when the dining area is being used normally rather than styled for company. On weekends, I notice it most when the space where everyone gathers stays busy a little longer than usual. I am glad we chose something that fits the way we actually live.

I noticed the update differently when my parents came by after the room update; the whole setup held together naturally. On weekends, I notice it most when the main room stays busy a little longer than usual.

When it is slow Sunday, the dining room looks more intentional with this chandelier in place. It feels intentional without asking for attention every time I walk into the dining area. I like it most when the space where everyone gathers is being lived in rather than perfectly styled. It turned out to be one of the more satisfying updates we made.
