The hallway still feels easy to live with with this flush mount in place.

Our hallway felt different after our anniversary; adding this flush mount made the room feel ready when everyone arrived. The room makes more sense as a whole now.

I picked this flush mount to give the room a more settled center, and the room feels better for it. The 1-light configuration was one of the few specific details I had in mind from the start.
