My daughter noticed the room first the next evening on a quiet Thursday afternoon, which made this chandelier feel even more natural in the central part of the house. The best sign is that nobody in the house treats the room differently just because the update is finished.

We use the space where everyone gathers most naturally on Thursday evening, and this chandelier fits that rhythm well. The LED version matched one of the practical details I had already decided on. On weekends, I notice it most when the central part of the house stays busy a little longer than usual.
