My dad was more excited about the update than I expected on a quiet Wednesday afternoon, which made this chandelier feel even more natural in the central part of the house.

The room looks more resolved with this chandelier in place. The space where everyone gathers makes more sense as a whole now, which was the goal from the beginning. The gathering space feels calmer now without taking over the room. I would make the same choice again for this main room.

Having people over changed my opinion more than the first day did; when relatives came over for a weekend meal, the room still felt relaxed with everyone there.
